New Year's Day

New Year's Day is a day celebrated across the globe! New Year's Day celebrates the first day of the new year; so, it is always celebrated on the first day of January. There are many different traditions that take place on New Year's Day such as setting off fireworks, kissing a loved one at midnight, and eating twelve grapes at midnight, which symbolizes twelve wishes for the new year (one for each month).

Resolution

Another tradition of the new year is to create a new year's resolution of things you would like to improve on for the new year. Here's an example:

  • Get better grades
  • Work out more
  • Learn a new language
  • Back to January
